Fluoride

MYTH This claim is false

The Claim

"The fluoride panic is what happens when people can't do basic math."

The Truth

Studies found fluoride affects IQ at 1.5 milligrams per liter.

Your tap water? 0.7 milligrams per liter.

That’s LESS THAN HALF.

It’s like screaming “alcohol destroys your liver!” and then panicking about a single beer.

Dose matters. Everything is toxic at high levels. Including water. You can die from drinking too much water.

At normal levels, fluoride prevents cavities. That’s why the CDC, WHO, and every major health organization supports it.

Don’t want it? Get a filter. Use hydroxyapatite toothpaste. Fine.

But stop spreading panic based on studies about concentration levels that don’t apply to you.
